Trash Cleanup

A common issue for any place with lots of people, especially competition venues, is trash on the ground. In the case of robotics competitions, an even bigger problem is trash in the pit areas. This can be a safety hazard if someone were to trip on whatever didn’t get put into the trash. If you see any trash lying around, whether it’s in the direct way or not, do everyone a favor and help to clean it up. Picking up trash is a simple gesture that shows professionalism. It also assists the members of your team and other teams by preventing accidents and helping to make the place look cleaner. Picking up any litter you find helps out the venue’s janitorial services as well. Whether you’re in the pits or the stands, do your part by throwing away any trash you may have or find.
