Our team is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, 30 minutes west of Milwaukee. Waukesha is the seventh largest city by population in Wisconsin, with about 75,000 people. Waukesha was first settled in 1834 by Morris Cutler and a group of settlers from New England. It gained national fame in the 1870s for its good tasting and supposedly healing spring water, leading to the nickname ‘Spring City’. It was incorporated as a city in 1896. Almost two decades later, Waukesha was the birthplace and childhood home of Les Paul, the musical legend and creator of the solid-body electric guitar. Due to this, Waukesha also holds the nickname of ‘Guitar Town’. In 2010 Waukesha was named one of the “100 Best Communities for Young People” by America’s Promise Alliance and ranked 50th of the “100 Best Places to Live” by Money Magazine.
