Where it all began: FIRST

We are part of FIRST, which stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. FIRST is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue an education in Science & Technology, while building confidence, knowledge, and life-skills. Team Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin

Our name stands for Community of Robotic Engineers, and that is just what we are-we are from Waukesha, Wisconsin and accept students from any three of our community high schools. We are part of a larger organization called FIRST. To read more about them, read the section below. We pair them up with great mentors who teach them the fundamentals of robotics and other life skills.

Events

Each year our team tries to compete at two regional events. Thanks to our hard work and dedication we’ve been fortunate enough to compete at the International competition in Atlanta. Our first year we qualified for the competition by winning the All Star Rookie Award at the Wisconsin Regional and our 2nd year we qualified by winning the competition at the same regional.

During the off season, we participate in community activities to promote awareness of FIRST, engineering, and our team. We want to give something back to the community which has been so supportive of us.
