Build Season  &  Competition

A competition year begins with early January with the announcement of this year’s game challenge.  There are 6 weeks of designing and building the robot until the middle of February.  On a date set by First we must  be hands off of  our competition robot.

Then competition season begin.  We continue programming functionality of the robot and continue driver training to prepare for our first competition.  We will attend the Milwaukee Regional at the Cellular One Arena in March.  We will often attend a second regional to allow us to refine our design and programming of the robot.

Off-Season

During the off season, we participate in community activities to promote awareness of FIRST, engineering, and our team. We want to give something back to the community which has been so supportive of us.

We host STEM night activities through VEX league and we host several robotic tournaments for elementary student through an FLL tournament. We also host a VEX tournament for middle school students and a separate tournament for high school students.
