Our name stands for Community of Robotic Engineers, and that is just what we are-we are from Waukesha, Wisconsin and accept students from any three of our community high schools. We are part of a larger organization called FIRST. To read more about them, read the section below. We pair them up with great mentors who teach them the fundamentals of robotics and other life skills.
Read MoreC.O.R.E. operated a stand at Rockwell’s Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser for the United Performing Arts Fund, where we talked about our team and FIRST robotics in general. We brought along our robot (Mizuki ’09) and showed people how it worked. We also had several VEX robots available there for people to drive. We participated with Team 537 and several Lego League teams.
