Our name stands for Community of Robotic Engineers, and that is just what we are-we are from Waukesha, Wisconsin and accept students from any three of our community high schools. We are part of a larger organization called FIRST. To read more about them, read the section below. We pair them up with great mentors who teach them the fundamentals of robotics and other life skills.
Read MoreStudents and their parents, as well as the mentors, were invited to our 2009 team picnic. While the parents chatted with other parents and the mentors, finding out what really happened those 6 weeks of build season, the students had a grand time throwing a football or Frisbee. Everyone brought some food, and the team enjoyed their time hanging out and eating outside together, anxiously awaiting the next season.
