Our name stands for Community of Robotic Engineers, and that is just what we are-we are from Waukesha, Wisconsin and accept students from any three of our community high schools. We are part of a larger organization called FIRST. To read more about them, read the section below. We pair them up with great mentors who teach them the fundamentals of robotics and other life skills.
Read MoreAfter the robot shipped, our team gave a presentation to a local elementary school. We talked to the students about what FIRST robotics is as well as how they can become involved. We encouraged students to attend the VEX summer school to learn more about robots and to prepare them to be on a middle school team. The students had a great time and enjoyed interacting with our robots and team members.
