Greetings and salutations! As of today, there are only 31 days until kickoff! The year is starting to power up, and we are in full gear to get the team ready for the upcoming season. Funding-wise, we have gotten a good start. As of today, we have obtained about 36% of our fundraising goals. If you have already sponsored us this year, we thank you and welcome you to the team. Another major pre-season effort that is happening on our team is safety training. Every year, we safety train all of our members, so that we can be a well-functioning team and continue our tradition of excellence in safety. Right now, slightly more than half of the team is safety trained, and the other half is in the process. The third and perhaps largest pre-season event that we are involved in is the FLL sectional that we host every year. We’re excited for this event, and we are expecting our largest turnout ever. There will be 48 teams competing, who have qualified by being in the top 30% of teams at their regionals. If you would like to support our team and the local FLL teams, please consider attending. It will be held Sunday, December 10th, from 8:00 AM to about 6:00 PM in the fieldhouse at Waukesha West High School.
